This is the only Mexican restaurant in the area.
There are plenty of shitty "Tex-Mex" garbage places for whitey, but this is the only actual Mexican place. The next closest is a gas station in Destin for twice the price. -

I generally don't give reviews unless something is outstanding or terrible. This taco shop is outstanding. They take three crispy tacos to an entirely higher level. The hard shells are perfect and in house made and fried. The guac, sour cream, cohita, onion and lettuce heaped on is just perfect. I'm from southern california where Mexican food is generally the best in the u.s....this place is right up there. For meat selection I especially liked the al pastor. For a drink, grapefruit Jarritos which tasted just like squirt.

I'm beyond happy that this town now has a go to spot for authentic Mexican food. I chose to hit this spot up for lunch and saw there were a lot of people there so it had to be good. Inside was nice and I liked that you can see them cook and prepare your food. I chose to get 3 tacos and some horchata. The tacos were made to order and delicious. Coming from a big city, I was afraid these tacos wouldn't live up to my standards. I was wrong. Everything is fresh and you can taste it. When you're done eating your spicy food, wash it down with some horchata. Their horchata was made the right way. It's sweet but not to the point where it's too much.

Tacos!?! I go crazy over tacos and I'm not talking about Taco Bell tacos I'm taking the real deal made by authentic Mexican people kinda tacos and this place has them. I'm give an absolute 5 star for the food. We got Carne Asada regular tacos and Carne Asada Super tacos? (It's basically add cheese and avocado) both of which were amazing. We also got a burrito with cheese and avocado also very good. And then we got a corn dish thing it was okay. Currently, you have to go into the store order and then take your ticket to the side outdoor area to get your food. They do offer different salsa, onions, and radish items to go on your food for no extra charge which I like. I say currently bc the lady that took our order said that they would be opening a restaurant in about a month (June 2018). Right now you have to sit outside with all the bugs which wasn't bad but if I knew that before hand I would have ordered the food Togo. I would recommend going here just get the food to go. The tacos are a bit expensive $2.25 each and I'm comparing to Seattle where we would especially get the same tacos but they were $1.30 each. Overall, they aren't out of this world expensive though.
UPDATE- Now that they have finished the addition it looks great on the inside. It's nice, modern, clean, and very open. The menus kinda suck or a white guy like me bc they don't offer pictures and the menu scrolls so it doesn't give you much time to understand what your reading... maybe I'm the only one. This time the Asada was a bit tough and dry in our tacos. We tried a Torta which is basically a Mexican burger I would say? It was pretty good. I like how they kept the salsa bar. I think it's the only restaurant like this that has the little salsa bar. Like my original review the food is good but not mind blowing. Would I come back yeah! Would I recommend you try it, yeah. Would I go tell everyone about how great it is, not completely. -

Very good food I enjoyed it. Hard to find decent Mexican food here in Destin, Miramar. Had to go to fort Walton to get this food. Worth every minute of the drive with all the traffic. We came from Pasadena, TX and have been to Destin Miramar before and could never find a good Mexican Taquria. I've found my place now. We stay in Miramar every year so the drive to Fort Walton to get good food is worth it. I've found my Mexican hook up from here on out. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food.
